Biography of Wentworth Miller

He has been thought of as the most beautiful man. This should not come as a surprise considering that he is a perfect blend of Caucasian and exotic origins. He is part African and English (father) and got French, Dutch, Syrian and Lebanese blood from his mother. It is a blend that inevitable produces a beautiful face, and Wentworth Miller, born on June 2, 1972 in England, is a beautiful man indeed. His fame started to spread when he appeared in videos of Maria Carey – “It’s Like That” and “We Belong Together”.

Wentworth Miller currently plays Michael Scofield, the lead role in Fox’s hit TV series, “Prison Break.”

Dinotopia was Miller’s first taste in acting where he played David – a sensitive and not-so-talkative character in the ABC mini series, focusing on the science fiction genre about humans and dinosaurs co-habiting in a supernatural setting. Both Hopkins and Wentworth Miller share a common thread: birthplace. Miller was born in a town called Chipping North but actually grew up in Brooklyn.

Miller graduated from Princeton University, but his time on stage during his college days was devoted to singing, traveling the world to perform with his school’s singing group, “The Princeton Tigertones”. To everyone’s surprise, he headed for Los Angeles and landed a behind-the-scenes job in the entertainment industry. Gradually, he built his career until he started getting noticed by the cameras.

Wentworth Miller quickly gained attention when he obtained a guest role in “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and “Popular.” His first starring role was
Dinotopia and “The Human Stain” was his first film feature. His other film credits include “Prison Break” and Underworld (2003) where he played Dr. Lockwood.
